Hi Thobane. On those particular motors it isn't easy to get a big jump in performance given that they are naturally aspirated. I'd suggest leaving them as is or alternatively you can chat to Seelo Performance to see what the possibilities are. Thanks for watching!

Hi Lerato. In my opinion it would not be worth tuning a 1.2 naturally aspirated motor as the power gains would be very minimal. Feel free to get in touch with us on Instagram to discuss further or look at alternative solutions.

Does it smoke after the tune? Reason for my question is because I did a stage 2 tune on mines and it smokes when u drive it hard. Tuner said it suppose to is he correct?

You're correct. Manufacturers state fly wheel KW and NM figures. The dyno at Seelo Performance measures actual Wheel KW and Wheel NM which factors in drive train power loss. This is a more realistic power test.

@@The_Carbon_Connection I've been wondering the same, I have the same engine and I get 511NM and 148KW from a dyno run in Stock mode, more than specked by Toyota. you must have something restricting this car for sure. ( I have the Fortuner Legender made in Thailand)

@@brfsa you have to understand that different dynos have different calibrations. Like I've explained. The only way to accurately test is for you to put your Hilux on this same dyno and then we can compare. Thanks for watching!
