All I know is I am from Greenville NC. I remember that game quite well. All I could do was listen to it on the radio cause our light's were out. And to this day, it was the highest energy felt game I've ever watched, listened to or played in. What a miracle comeback and win for the pirates. You could feel the momentum thru the radio and heighten energy shift when the Pirates started their historic comeback!!! I remember telling my 2 buddies, that we,"ECU" WERE GONNA WIN THIS GAME!! WE SURE AS HECK DID!!! TO THIS DAY, IVE NEVER WATCHED THE GAME UNTIL NOW!!!

I was stationed at Ft Bragg at the time and went with my buddies family who were alumni of ECU. It was pretty crazy. I'm an LSU fan but always check on ECU to see how there doing.

I was there for that game and the energy was absolutely electric. I’m not even a huge sports fan, but my dad is an alum and he managed to get tickets so I went with him. I’ll never forget that evening.
