That OBD readiness screen is basically what gets looked at when you get an inspection. That way you can't just reset your codes to clear something wrong and pass your inspection. The ecu goes through checks like it shows on the screen, and after you've driven enough it'll be considered ready like it says on the "since reset" screen. After everything has been completed then you'll be able to pass inspection.

I always drive with my dashboard on my smartphone. I added the gear so when in auto mode I can see which gear I'm in. VERY handy. Charge air temp and charge air coolant temp. Very handy to see what's going on. I have the boost flash read when at peak boost or over boost. Just remember the boost level has atmosphere pressure included so 30psi is not +30psi!

Yes atmospheric pressure is 14.7. But FYI, manifold gauge pressure comes without that included.

At z1 we can tune you for 93 for $1050 and $1200 with E30 or Full E. Remotely or plus dyno fees if local. You can tune however you’d like

Can You buy another OEM ECU and install on your own? Or would the dealer need to know? To synchronize it for you. For example your original be like as a Spare with stock settings on it. And then just the other with the ekutek tune.. so that it doesn’t void my warranty? Just in case somthing goes wrong?

I own a 2018 Infiniti Q50 Red Sport. I have very little knowledge about tuning, but am interested in learning. I am interested in an ECU Tune. I live near an AMS Performace shop in Chicagoland. I have a son who is an experienced Infiniti mechanic. What option do I have to tune and how important is it to include a dyno as part of the tune?

You to have to flash the ECU to stock. Pulling the OBD unit doesn’t put the car back to stock

Our Qs don’t have a throttle response adjustment. It’s imbedded in the tune itself.
