The failure was the cheapest thing, their mags SUCK, once I used a Wilson Mag, problems went away!! The Ammo I used was a truncated cone lead ammo, not very nice for smooth feeding, one I went to RN, problems gone.

@ the ammo situation is one of the biggest issues I’ve had with my 10 mm 1911. At least with the 45 ACP 1911 platform the round ball feeds pretty dependably on almost any version of that handgun, whereas a 10 mm with its finicky type of ammo is a nightmare for the 1911 platform. So frustrating…. Keep up the great work, man!

@@hoosiered471 Ammo and Mags, I don't know why such a good pistol ships with not so good mags. They are NOT bad, but they are NOT good. IF they didn't want to use Wilson or McCormick, which are Wilson owned, they could at least gone with Mec-Gar, which are superb magazines too. I know 10mm can be a challenge, especially if you have a non ramped barrel like the OG Delta Elite. I don't know if the new Delta Elite is ramped, but the OG one from 1987 was not. I know, I had one and it did suffer from feeding issues with some ammo. I have a pile of 10mm ammo here, and I don't have a 10mm 1911, I had one for T&E and I sent it back some years ago. Honestly, the 10mm is a superb round, everyone should at least own one firearm in that caliber.

Thanks, my eyes are not as good as they used to be and OMG, ,45's have.... Recoil ;). Especially when you were shooting 9mm all morning before shooting this.
