I just read he's not in the RnR Hall of Fame! As a guitarist I wasn't a big fan per se, but Mr. Wray was a very important musician and contributor to rock and roll.. He deserves that honor.

Back in the early 70s Link played a lot at this little club often frequented by the likes of Roy Buchannan & even Rory Gallagher called My Mothers Place, saw Link play many times there & he always put on one hell of a show , folks there knew just who he was & he knew they had come to see the Main MAN !!! He is missed dearly.

Sold a million copies in 1958, it must have blown so many people away, even today it still sounds raw.

The rock and roll hall of shame disrespected Link Ray by not putting in the great indian man that created the rock and roll musical powered cord that cord created rock music as we no it pay proper homage to a legend. 313

That’s too bad! For sure all the great bands that came out of Uk were fans of Link Wray. Jimmy Page especially

An INSTRUMENTAL record that was banned on the radio. Think about it.
