When he looks up, I can imagine him reliving all those dark moments of his mother verbally abusing him telling him that he's worthless while he just takes it and him sleeping in that locked basement that was sometimes home to rats. What he did was wrong obviously, but you can't ignore how he was brought up how it affected his psych.

@mastereppsreturns65862 жыл бұрын
Even though if one tried to refute it, they wouldn’t be able to actually articulate how it’s wrong. It is as terrifying, as you said, but because it does have some truth to it. Many directors like Christopher Nolan and especially David Fincher (the director of mindhunter) love plunging the audience into moral ambiguity by making the villain’s motivations have some logic behind them. Horrifying statements that are nonsensical aren’t exactly “horrifying”
@bronzejourney57842 жыл бұрын
Well yes, it is horrifying to men who has to deal with this bullshit on a daily basis. Why would it be horrifying to you? Case in point for example, you gonna try to humiliate me by labeling me an incel for not behaving the way you, as a women, demanded from me to behave.

what i find so crazy about these killers is they dont have to kill to get revenge on women. as men we are naturally smarter. so just pretend to be everything a girl wants, fuck her, and never talk to her again. completely legal and in my opinion its what most women deserve. they treat men like they are subhuman, dont offer love but just ask what a man can provide for them. so if they can dish it out they should be able to take it. but they think its unfair when it happens to them lol. even tho they do it all the time. nothing i love more than seeing 10 missed calls and dozens of text messages telling me how awful i am from a complete skank lol. i advise all men in this day and age to do the same. it's therapy. of course there are some good girls left, dont do it to them.

@@JR-zi9vj There are plenty of people like that who aren't killers. No empathy, no remorse but because they were brought up in normal, loving families, they become a somewhat "normal" and productive part of society. There are two things that mostly make a monster like him. One is being a psychopath and the other is trauma/abuse when they were a child. You can check it. Almost all of the serial killers were abused as children or experienced some kind of deep trauma. This however does not excuse what they have done nor means they should be punished less severely, it only shows that they were made this way.

Who is to say his mother wasn't MADE the way she was? At least she didn't kill anyone.
@ragreenburg7 ай бұрын
If you read the actual MindHunter book you'll see that the author (who Ford is based off of) actually doesn't think that Kemper was born that way. He is one of the only serial killers that they interviewed who the author believed was truly a product of their environment. Which is to say, had Kemper's family in general been nicer and more well rounded, he likely would have been just another guy and not a serial killer.
