100%. If I would have known I'd be talking to the person who wrote those way back when I was reading them.... I wouldn't have believed myself. Pretty stoked ;)

Love watching you you remind me of the old days when we were called hippies growing and smoking back in the 70s I think your a bit younger than me I am a lot like you in so many ways I grew up when you would go to gaol for a little bud its taken a long time but finally we have a lot more freedom to grow and not be called a criminal

I think it was Ed who wrote a book back in the 70s it was my bible it was so wrong in so many ways but like all of us we have learnt a lot since those days one thing I do remember was it said to pick when half to 45 percent red hairs it was at its peak I lost thousands of pounds picking it to early we didn't know any better in those days someone told you something and you thought it was gospel I was a kid I have like everyone else learnt so much since those days I'm glad to listen to Ed he was around in the old days when we where all learning about it we tried everything people told us some was good and a lot was bad information

Haha, true. We have come a long ways. I chuckled when Ed said he use to smoke the leaves and didn't even know about the buds. We were all there once. Sometimes I like looking at old maps and history books for the same reason. It lets us see how much the world has changed in a specific timeframe. lol, this is actually probably the origin of so much "bro science". lol

another great bit of history! i love the idea of a graphical timeline of the history of the plant that's also an homage to the people involved. going into cultivars and going back through the lineage, going into breeders and regions and trade and culturally significant events (the dead are tied to a more than a few cultivars by culture), consumption styles and the evolution, and the prohibition operations and the people behind that. are there defined era's of cannabis? maybe define and break it down by era even.

Wow, what a fantastic idea. I would love to see something comprehensive like that as well. My mind is already picturing what it would look like. Cheers :)

Man, that is an injustice. I know the visa process looks at cannabis involvement and since visiting is governed by the feds, I'm not sure what their position on it would be now. But I know if you have a DUI, you can be denied entering Canada. Had that happen to a buddy many years ago.
