A new option for an EDC belt. Very similar to the 1.5" cobra belts that I love, this one features a sleek, black, minimal, magnetic buckle. It's a great option for someone looking for a solid EDC gun belt to hold up all your gear (and pants.)
The magnetic buckle has almost the exact same dimensions as a 1.5" cobra buckle, so the fit and function will be virtually the same for each.

Nice looking belt, I like the magnetic buckle idea. The Cobra buckle on my SOE/EDC belt can be a bit difficult to release at times. The holster you made for my G27 is by far the best in my collection.

I have done modifications to a lot of gear . I bought a knockoff belt for 8 dollars that says 5:11 on it . Although it is not 5:11 and it's stitching sucked for lack of a better word . As well the sizing was off . The 3 mod's I did to make this belt comparable to that of an 80 dollar belt were as follows . First I doubled the stitching all by hand as I have not yet learned to sew with machine as of yet . It only took 2 days of use before the velcro stitching started coming off so doubling the stitching of the velcro was the first thing . Secondly I could not tighten the belt to the right size so I added velcro to the belt . I used salvaged velcro I gather it here and there as I run across it . Taking it off things people throw by the roadside etc . You don't have to buy it nor do you have to always buy shock cord or nylon if you use creative thinking . Later I was bored and had been watching escape and evade videos and gear reviews and seen something that had not been done in the way I envisioned it . What I did next was to add 2 small velcro pockets to the inside of the belt . The pockets measure 3.75 inches wide by the width of the belt which is 1.50 inches . I fist sewed the little pockets out of a nylon material from an old lunch bag..Once I had the little rectangular pockets . I added velcro to fasten them shut . And finally I sewed them to the belt . First putting one in the rear and secondly adding one to my left side . These little pockets are great for hiding money from your wife ,she will go in your wallet but never in your belt! No more looking like an idiot when you go to buy something and don't have as much money as you assumed . As well as the inspired reason I dropped in a small razor and a small piece of hacksaw blade As well as a handcuff key . I have thought about buying more belts like mine to modify and sell to make a few dollars . I could sell them under 90 dollars especially if I would sit down and learn to use the sewing machine . I would like to hear if anyone else has modified their gear such as bags belts plate carriers etc . Is there any cobra buckle belts that are under 79.00 most of them are 89 to 120 I guess I have to wait for china to make cobra buckles .

I just bought a CZ 75D PCR; it's basically the same size as a g19 but it is heavier due to it's aluminum alloy frame. I plan to start carrying it, though I haven't decided yet between IWB and OWB. Would you say this belt is more than capable of supporting a midsized metal-framed gun? I don't plan to hang anything else from it, I just want to be confident in it's strength and rigidity before purchasing. Thanks, love the channel

+motomarc Yeah? You have any in particular that you'd recommend? I've seen some here and there and they're interesting designs, they seem pretty practical - though I'm not a big fan of belts that have overlapping webbing, just because of bulk. But I guess with how thin the g hooks are, it might not be as big of an issue.

They snake eater co . Must have an exclusive deal with a company called strap works . Because they have the PATENT to this magnetic buckle design . I found strap works while looking for a rigid stiff belt and unlike a 2 2.5 years ago . I can't find a rigid or stiff budget belt . Lat time 2 years ago . I ordered my first classic one buckle riggers belt FROM EBAY . The belt it's self was stiff and firm nylon was and is still good . Although the only trade off is that the velcro and the velcro stitching was weak . Well for 8 dollars no problem . I always salvage good velcro when I see something going to the trash that has it . Like exercise equipment and a plethora of many other items . I hand sewed replacing the belts velcro in my spare time for a couple days . About 3 hours total; . And didn;t have to replace the velcro until about 10 mo ago . Problem was last week when I decided to grab another belt and I couldn't find them and in the reviews of the new trendy style's reviews there is usually a couple people disappointed that the belt is not ridged . I took a chance on a rodut brand belt on amazon and it was flimsy . It is packed and ready to go back . Funny thing last night in an Amazon listing there was a question on a belt . A guy while looking for the same kind of belt for the budget price said . 2 years ago he had bought a riggers belt the gen 1 or older style buckle and it was stiff . He goes on to say he tried a Rodut belt thinking it may be a firm belt for 15.00 or so . And it was flimsy . Ill bet there are more of us every day as our older belts age . I still wear it although I have to retighten it a couple times a day . My Idea of budget riggers belt has to be changed now . What was 8 dollars is now 23 dollars . If you want any rigidity. I however after searching for hours over two days . Found a preowned ALTHOUGH IN EXCELLENT CONDITION RIGGERS BELT .I had never heard of the co before . It seems they have a following and good rep . They are WILDERNESS TACTICAL . i GOT ONE OF THERE RIGGERS - FIRE THEY CALL IT for 15 + 6 shipping . EBAY .

Do you know where to get 1.5" clips like G-code uses. I checked their website and it looks like they only use 1.75" clips. My belts are 1.5". I'm thinking about getting the Incog eclipse holster but since they use 1.75" clips I'm concerned it might move too much during the draw if the belt is smaller than the clip size. Have you had any issues with that? Awesome videos BTW
