I have been using the F-301 at work for years and its the only one I do use, but now that I want something for EDC the F-301 wouldn't suffice and I worry that the (not shown in this video) X-701 tactical wasn't all metal and would break in my pocket and the F701 with the steel barrel would hold up but it would also dig up my hip and or my leg carried in a front pocket when I'm driving so I went with the Zebra StylusPen Telescopic Retractable Ballpoint Pen 2 pack for under $10 , its the same as this one just has a stylus on top and its the exact same size as my Streanlight Microstream flashlight so I dont even know its in my front pocket....love it for EDC and would recommend one to anyone looking to EDC a pen and Im sure the stylus would come in handy for most people. Some nice options. I like taking pen and paper notes. For EDC I like cap pens because the clickies tend to open in my pocket and that's not fun. Nice options here for sure though.

I usually just throw a space pen in my watch pocket. Rarely need a pen outside the office so I like the small size.

Nice. I'm definitely a pen nerd. Have a few of those. My go to EDC pen is actual a mechanical pencil. The Uni Kuro Toga Roulette.

I’m not a pencil guy, but I looked it up and that is a sweet pencil. Good price too.

I had the original toga pencil in middle school and I got the roulette in gun metal grey in my junior year of high school I’m now in college and still using the pencil and the lead I use is pentel sin stein 2b in 0.5 and will never stop using this pencil

I'm not very much into mechanical pencils that do that rotation thing, just doesn't go well with my writing style, but I use a GraphGear 500 0.5 mm and I love it.

I carry the fisher telescoping space pen everyday. It’s like that zebra but a little bit thicker. I really like it.

I’m a fan. I put the fine tip Fischer cartridge in it. I don’t think it is as fine as your zebras but I prefer it to the regular one.

I'm definitely a pen nerd. Baoer 37 is a good, inexpensive option. Some of the metal promotional pens are actually pretty good. Just got a sample from 4imprint called The Dynasty Metal pen. It's about as long as a jotter, narrow, has a grip for the fingers and brass threads. Uses the Parker style g2 refills. You can buy 2 get 1 free from Wish for shipping costs. I am currently using it.

LOL, nothing wrong with being a stationary supply junkie. I should be in therapy for many of my hobbies. I’ll say that in the days if everything being digital and hand writing going out of style, when I do use pen and paper I want to write with something a little more exciting than a 10 cent Bic pen. So I’m with you man. Stationary supply junkies unite!

i have the Zebra Telescopic Ballpoint, it's similar to the Zebra SL-F1 just a bit longer. i love it! but i sadly lost the spring. i can't seem to find spare part being sold. i don't really wanna replace the pen cause it's already so old i wanna keep it

What alternative Refills can be used for the Zebra Compact and the Zebra SL-F1 Mini Pen?? In the Country I live, it’s very difficult to find Zebra Refills.

Uni power tank smart series is a pressurized refill (like the space pen) that fits the zebra compact. The Fisher space pen refill will work also with some slight modding.

The Zebra F 701 is a terrific pen, and for the price, I ty just out -classes e everything else. Unless you wanting to spend more than 20 bucks, this is it. And, yeah, screw "tactical" pens, they're dumb.

Its too chunky and heavy... Its annoying to write with for a long period of time. Plastic gel pens are much better for note taking
