a new old-jack here ... gettin' to know ya ... enjoyin' your efforts ... had a early post-war carbon steeled sodbuster in wood by the German company Carl Schlieper ... the walk-talk was serious ... gave it to one of my sons ... recently picked up a carbon steel CASE in yellow [ smaller than the GERMAN EYE, & in your lest favorite covers ] that now works very well in my kitchen ... thank you

Growing up with Case knives being my first and what all my relatives carry I'll always love them. Try a small Texas toothpick for awhile if you get the chance, extremely handy and fun.

Could you go to an emergency room and ask for the surgery? I recently had travel out of state to Arizona where I knew that they had the specialist surgeon I needed to see. They accepted me and I had a successful spinal cord surgery. I wasn’t charged because it was emergent care.

I bought the Bruin over 2 years ago and was so happy with it, really didn't see much content on it until your channel popped up and said basically how I felt about it. You seem like someone who's into tinkering, but if you want a toothpick and tweezers with your SAK you can get a Sportsman model and swap out the scales for some Swiss Bianco aluminum plus scales. @@ericasedc Of course! But really, if you want back tools, T-picks, tweezers and even a pen with Aluminum scales. Swiss Bianco are where it's at! I've enjoyed one of two Alox SAK's before, and the more toolset versions just get more bulky all without those little tools. But I always NEED a toothpick, so that's the route I went

Thermoplastic or thermosetting plastic There’s a ton of difference Just saying I’m guessing thermosetting since it’s so hard When you drop a knife don’t grab it I did that last week and almost cut a tendon on my wedding ring finger just came short of it and stitches Wish I could get by with a thin wallet lol but I’m an old guy JO Ventures makes great leather stuff for Case and other knives wallets and he’s getting a great rep in the community He has made several custom sheaths for me for my family and for my creator friends Hmmm Love you

I know exactly what you mean speaking on the feeling you get from that sodbuster. That exact 'orange harvest corn cob jigged' sodbuster is the one I am looking at. Gonna get one of those to carry for next fall. I think the knife will compliment the season perfectly. As for the ppl trying to throw you off your land... I totally understand and respect your decision but I would be fighting those bastards to the end. It is very clear they don't have legitimate cause to make you go anywhere. Hence why their excuse has changed. When you mentioned they said they were 'concerned for your safety... that's a dead giveaway that they have NOTHING. They would probably get the police to come and try to threaten you and force you to move if you did try and stand your ground. I'm lucky and have an attorney who is close family, so I'd be able to get free advice/help. But yeah... all depends on your area and local laws. I don't blame you for just getting away from the a-holes but man it just pisses me off seeing good ppl get bullied and shit on by stupid politicians and police. Good luck with the future. I'm sure door's will open for you when the time is right.

Got to watch to the end late last night I apologize for the plastics critique early on and make one more quick suggestion before you bail on Case as a good American Sodbuster option have them try the synthetic version with the Birds Eye Rivets instead of the Bone Handles Granted the bone is gorgeous but the synthetic lasts forever is perfect for food prep bc it’s safer for washing and is available in SS and CV but the Birds Eye is much stronger than the small rivet in the bone and makes it a far better work knife like the GEC with the larger rivet I sincerely hope and pray you are able to resolve your home situation I don’t always understand all the choices you make but they are your choices not mine and I support you in them and I love to see you working your butt off as my adult grandchildren who are around your age all do and those who are a few years younger are working their butts off all summer when not in HS and college or both Our family appreciates hard work bc our parents grandparents and great grandparents all did Anyway E I love you and pray for you Don’t freeze please T
