Another beauty from GEC Jim. The only problem with them is that we become a bit spoiled by the quality. Nothing else is quite the same and we're always just a bit disappointed by other manufacturers. They have raised the bar so high that it is difficult to compete. When you consider that most of their offerings are sold between $80 to $125, they are real bargains. I've been carrying the Olight S-10 baton for a while now. You might want to give it a look see. Cheers Jim. ATB Doug.

Hello Doug - I know that $100 is a lot of money to spend on a knife for some people (me included!) but when you consider what you get from GEC for your $100 brands like WR Case don't even come close anymore! I did look at the S-10 Baton, but this JetBeam was less than a third of the price, and that sealed the deal for me :-)

Happy birthday! That GEC barlow knife is real beauty. As for the EDC, it's classy and very well thought out. Jet Beam is good light but I prefer Klarus Mi7. You might want to give it a look. Nice video, as always. Cheers :)

Evening Jim! If you find that the camera pouch isn't working - I can highly recommend the Triple 7 Gear available from 20dollarbandit. I've always wanted a TC - mainly because it's my name! I just think they're beautiful knives! I've got a few traditionals these days & GEC are just streets ahead on F&F! Enjoy that knife, it's a beauty!

The wallet has been a great purchase - I didn't really want leather but it's much better than the Victorinox nylon wallet it replaced.

I enjoy a drop of stout, so I think I'm going to have to find some of that ! Must be a pain having to change anEDC that you are happy with. Still that's liife I suppose. Have you ever considered wearing a small belt pouch to carry some of your stuff in ? That Barlow looks lovely !

Fair point. Mind you, I've seen enough office workers around here that wear those phone holster things. Worn low slung and tied down pf course so they can prove they're the fastest touchscreen in the west ! Ok, so I lied about the last bit. But it'll happen I'm sure lol. A small discrete black one might do the job though if you could find one.

In the comment below Daily Walker recommended the Klarus Mi7, which is brighter for the same size... it might be worth a look :-)

You can get Young's Double Chocolate Stout here in Denmark in some places! Very nice beer. Had a few of those.. EDC: have you considered using something like the Maxpedition pocket organiser and carry as a shoulder bag underneath the suit? The lithium battery can be improved with a drop of solder (carefull though). The knife reminds me of the Otter Ankermesser - yet the F&F seems superior.

Hello Lars... although I wear a formal shirt and trousers at work I don't wear a suit jacket, so I have to stuff everything into my trouser pockets LOL :-) The knife is similar to an Ankermesser, but the quality is much better

I guess formal trousers do not come with cargo pockets? ;-) I was going to do a "Is that a knife in your pocket or are you just happy to see me" -joke, but I can't think of any.
