It would appear the title is a lure to get you to watch. Edd China is a wonderfully competent engineer. His eccentric approach just makes him more interesting. He and Mike seem to get on fine without each other. I know which one I prefer. Keep on making us smile Edd.

Wheeler dealers was never the same after it moved to the US. Edd leaving a year or so later put the final nail in the coffin for me. I really enjoy Ed's workshop diaries.....very entertaining.

No one really watched it for that other fatty. He was merely tolerable between the good stuff, like a yappety advertisement. He had nothing of value to say. Even his rundown of expense vs profit was a total sham, as it always depended on Ed China working for free. Check it out, he always just considered parts cost, and free labor/tools.

Sad life? Sounds pretty cool to me. I love Ed. Wheeler Dealers was never the same after he left, (no disrespect to Ant), and he's just kept on going with his own projects since. I just love his enthusiasm for all things mechanical, as I love all that stuff too. I just wish I had his talent. It's true though, as he does have this knack of making all the stuff he does look simple.

To me Ed China was the greatest mechanic going if there was a problem with a vehicle he would look at it saying this is what's wrong you fix like this. Why do they do thses sh1t titles? WOuld be far more honest to say GREAT as he really has and has had to compromise on nothing. Everyone watched WHeeler Dealers to watch Edd and how he did stuff, anyone can haggle. And I cant say, considering the work that was put into the cars, that Mile Brewer ever got a decent deal for the work done most fo the time. The buyer was the winner lol.
