A lot of these cars were bodged. I’ve checked the MOT for a number of them and a lot had failures even a year or two after the show. Either the budgets were rubbish or rushed jobs to get a car looking OK but not done properly.

Just looking at the car with the badly repaired dents and all the filler used along with the visible rust bubbles I would be suspect that the former owner(s) mickey moused a lot of repairs on the car and that's how they bought it on the cheap.

He tried. It had a pilot, wasn’t very good and obviously never got picked up. Edd’s Garage Revival. It’s on KZbin. Spent most of the show doing the headlining in an old Golf and the rear brakes. I can see why it wasn’t picked up for a series based on that.

Never really rated Ed as anything more than an average mechanic, the new guy is actually more skilled. Ed got too big for his boots,,,, nobody is irreplaceable .

Agree. Edd bodged a lot of things. Ant is an engineer. He restored cars that sell for world records, he fabricates more than Edd (like making an exhaust system from scratch) and had a company designing and building bespoke cars. Edd is fine but Ant is an artist. However so many people hate on Ant for not being Edd, just refuse to believe the truth.
