They sent me a letter regarding a claim from 2017, once I saw the date I didn't even finish reading. They need to figure out whether people qualify for sure before paying. You cant say someone qualified and then later arbitrarily change that qualification.

@@josezaragoza3188 There was no choice in the matter, they didn't ask anyone if they wanted the money, it was just put in the account and that's it, and honestly with so many hackers and ID theft it's too dangerous to leave it in there. Many people at work like to say we won't have to pay it back, but I am guessimg something akin to you usual tax returns minus 1200 at best.

I was refused after waiting many monthes without ever receiving a call to go over my situation. I was a victim of badly unfair written statutes and beaucracy. I have worked over thirty years without ever getting unemployment and when I finally actually need it I get screwed over by the system.

Texas Workforce Commission is the same there are thousands of claims that not being determine and are asking us to keep requesting months into the pandemic. Unemplyment agencies need to be held accountable for this delay. people will not go back to work because there is no money for us to go to work

I went through them about a half dozen years ago and I was only getting $185 per week (No joke!) and when I got my back pay after nine weeks of waiting to get approved, I got my money and then… my boss filed an appeal which he won and I got garnished plus interest. They stole thousands of dollars from me as I was actually going to relocate to the Pacific Northwest with the money I had which was about $5000.
