This model known as Bedford KB in the UK and the Bedford Brava that followed it are now extremely rare and desirable collector cars. Most went to Africa so the very few survivors are sought after and fought over.

It's true,in Africa(Kenya)where i hail from,they were plenty and a few are remaining. My dad had a baby blue one when i was a teenager,learned to drive in it.I wonder if it's a collectible classic,i know of one stacked up in a barn after the old man died and the widow won't sell it.

Always wise, to paint the underside bed, frame floor boards and the chassis with black rust olem paint while you have this little truck taken apart. That way, it will last much longer without rusting out or loosing it to rust damage.

They were actually made by Isuzu in Japan and Marketed by Chevrolet in US as Chevy LUV and by Vauxhall Motors in the Uk as Bedford KB. In Asia they were sold as the Isuzu Faster.

Originally yes, no power and lucky if there's no rust. Also true they are hard to sale in the original condition(that's why I got mine for free) but most of the surviving luvs have been fixed up a little and have a small block chevy engine in them. I'm going with a ls6 vette engine in mine,you know, since it was a free truck. Body and chassis was built pretty tuff though
