India, I am 67 years old and this is the first of many shows that I brought my two youngest boys to! It was a free show In one of the larger towns nearby! Actually this is John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band! The movie and soundtrack are named Eddie and the Crusiers starring Michael Pare and Tom Berringer! Anyway, my point is that my boys were 4 and 5 at the time and spent most of the time saying “daddy can we go now “! Now at 27 and 28 they both have vinyl copies of this album and now say to me “dad, why didn’t you make us stay”?

This song is off of an 80s movie sound-track called “Eddie & The Cruisers”.. (mayb not the best movie overall..but the music soundtrack is legendary)..about the ups & downs of an up and comng 60s rock band tryng to make it big in the music industry/world..Well, if you liked the song..Im quite sure you’ll like the rest of the movie soundtrack..All the rest of the songs are pretty good..Good beats ..different sounds..Fast & slow songs... You should check it out..You will enjoy them

IMHO, the key is “ Love Is Blind” when you love someone or something so much, you’re blind to everything else around you!!! A great friend told me, Don’t Lose Yourself in the love you have for her!!! In essence, nothing’s gonna save you from a love that’s blind, slip into the dark side & cross that line. You’ll do anything & everything to preserve what you love!! Including destroying yourself because “ Love Is Blind”

John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band. They had a huge following in the clubs around Jersey and the east coast. They couldn't get a record deal though until they did the soundtrack for Eddie and the Cruisers. Record labels were afraid to sign them because they thought the band sounded too much like Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band.
