Eddie Cochran has been dead 52 years & his music has more life & feeling than anything you would hear on the radio today.

He sounds and plays great live, at least here. Here's another early rocker who isn't talked about nowadays nearly as much as he should be.

I loved his music since I was 14 too, but I can't say how old I am now...but I was one of the original fans. Can't believe his music still sounds so cool.

I Love Eddie Cochran mainly for his music, but also really appreciate the fact that he showed all the good ol' boys and the world, for that matter, that Southern California could rock too!!

Eddie just rocks! Simple as that. You can hear his influence on everything to come after. I just wish he could have lived to see what he helped start.

Eddie Cochran epitomized the rock and roll star and the rebel image. Eddie was a music virtuoso, playing guitar, drums, and piano. He was in the same class as Elvis, Little Richard, Buddy Holly and Jerry Lee Lewis. He was great. Too bad he died with his fiancée in a car wreck and became a legend. What else could he have produced?

The guitar is a Gretsch G6120 with a P90 Dog Ear neck-pickup. His amp was a Fender Bassman

Great guitar playing on this one, love it. Cochran plays the rhythm well when he's not hitting those chords, different than the recorded guitar part.

He's using a Gretsch guitar, which is known for its signature "that Gretsch sound!". The amps do play a factor in your tone, etc. But the sound you're feeling is probably from the heart of the Gretsch.

Nunca segundas versiones fueron buenas pero la excecpcion confirma la regla. Tono de la Villa y Los Locos del Ritmo hicieron una super version de esta cancion. Los grupos mexicanos de hoy en dia no saben ni que onda, estan en el limbo

Coming from a musician, the answer is quite simply: Both. Guitars and amplifiers are equally important, albeit in different ways. Hope that helps. :)

todas las versiones, estan bonitas, pero se oyen mejor en español, con los locos del ritmo y los camisas negras y eso que son titulos diferentes, una se llama, avientense todos y la otra que noche pase, saludos

The best translation of the comment below in english: all the versions, estan beautiful, but they are heard better in Spanish, with the crazy people of the rate and the black shirts and that are different titles, one is called, avientense all and the other that night happen, greetings.
