Eddie Hall became an inspiration for me to go back to the gym and get healthy. The type of commitment that went into this, truly earned my respect for him as an individual and powerlifter.

@@haltdieklappe7972 "he was imagining lifting his kids off the car" Yeah, that's exactly right. No better motivation than the damage his kids would cause if they were on top of a car.

@Douglas E. Heeren What does that got to do with anything? Its the worlds heaviest DL, with or without drugs, with or without straps. Its just the heaviest ever, enjoy the sight of a man destroying hes body to accive his life goal at all cost.

@Fsy North big z dead lift using tires instead of weights.. if we gonna use something like that as a scale to see eddies strength, check out when he deadlift 536 kg then, using books as weight.

Coming back to this once in a while. Not once I have watched 501kg stream xD. Not to understate 501, but this is just so epic.

Don't care what anyone says, thor did his in his home gym with his own people, eddie did his at the strongman infront of thousands of people and pretty sure was nervous, unlike thor he did his at his home gym where he has a lot of familiar faces. No matter what anyone say, eddie had his more tough and more on a 1 million dollar squid bet, unlike Thor who just did it to look cool, eddie is still the champ.

501kg...501...the previous WR before eddies was also Eddie's record at 465kg. Eddie added 35kg to his own previous record to break it. I'm sure eddie could be a baby and pull 502kg just to spite thor but honestly the guy has it made now, he's living well and enjoying himself so I dont blame him...oh and eddie will knock thor's lights out In the boxing match

@Hidde de Roos did he do it in an official meet or in his basement while live streaming on his own selected time with his dad calibrating his plates?
@danai35604 жыл бұрын
@Hidde de Roos No lol the guy gave the down signal way before he put it down, in a previous world record attempt he put down the weight to early and it didn’t count, he held it longer to make sure. You can find the interview with Eddie and the judge talking ab this on his channel. It’s da nothing to do with the lock out
@malicious_lifts4 жыл бұрын
@@ProdigySpite the difficulty in which each person did the lift there’s a clear difference, Eddie almost died, Thor looked like he could go for a run, Eddie is Insane and still amazing for betting his life like that but Thor is just way stronger

@@ProdigySpite Eddie could have lifted another 10kg with how fast he lifted it and how long he held it
