This is fairly solid explanation of Prince Andrews "I don't sweat" debacle. I would describe it more as the consequences of extreme privilege. Andrew has been surrounded by yes men his entire life. People who would agree with his every word, tell him how amazing he is, how much better, and more intelligent than the unwashed masses he is. An he believes it. He believed it so much so that it genuinely never occurred to the fool to think that the simple "plebs" would be able to see right through his bullsh*t in a heartbeat. In his mind, that interview was a masterful strategy whereby he would easily pull the wool over the eyes of his barely cognisant subjects.

Totally agree with you, Eddie could have been describing Prince Andrew. I think Andrew's downfall was his grossly inflated view of himself and his failure to understand that most people aren't as stupid or as servile as the people that have surrounded him all his life. I wonder if he has changed his attitude, even slightly, since he was "retired". I suspect not, as he seems to have no insight. Probably thinks he's been badly treated by everyone, that we've all been very unfair to him. Perhaps he'll find some comfort in his teddy collection.
