I remember around 1977, I was in a record store and they were blasting Two Tickets to Paradise. There was a guy working there with very long curly hair and wearing mirrored glasses walking down the aisle to the beat of this new song, lip sinking the words. I forget most of my life back then but for some reason this memory has stuck with me all these years. This guy to a 14 year old was the essence of coolness. Just a great memory.. RIP Eddie Money.

Eddie had a habit of getting bored staying in hotels. He would go out and walk around in the back of the house talking to the employees. He was staying at our hotel. I saw some guy walking around in our back hall. I walked out if my office and said, can I help you? He turned around and my jaw hit the floor. It was Eddie Money. We talked awhile and I introduced him to my banquet staff. He was such a great guy.

Many years ago I was driving west on highway I-10 coming back home from Crestview, Fl. at 1:00 in the morning. The sunroof was open and this song was blasting on the car stereo. The next thing I remember was the rat-a-tat-tat sound of Bahia grass being mowed down by the front of the car. I could suddenly see it was taller than the hood of the car and Bahia seeds were falling like rain through the car's sunroof. What a way to wake up.
