Guys I have a theory so in dnd there’s this guy named kas who gets murdered by bats but comes back as a vampire and then becomes vecna right hand man but then murders vecna this theory is further supported because Eddie wields a shield and a spear which is the same thing kas uses only time will tell if this theory is correct

Watching Eddie brought back so many fond memories of knowing guys like this when I was a kid. The portrayal was so spot on and he was so endearing, that it just made it that much more painful to see him go. Long live Eddie Munson, I wish we could have had more time together.

He faced death so bravely. I don't know why he didn't run. Maybe he was tired of running. Maybe he knew if he went back, he'd be arrested for a crime he didn't commit. He'd be seen as an evil person, even though that's far from the truth. Eddie is my new favorite character in Stranger Things. This is such a beautifully made edit

I've watched this 15 times and I'm not done. It's so good, makes me emotional everytime. Eddie didn't deserve this. He died a hero while everyone thought he was a monster. If only he could have survived to tell the tale, or if people could have seen what a hero he was before he died. Now, everyone is probably happy about his death, and still believe he's the reason for all of this. Eddie didn't deserve this, and the people of Hawkins didn't deserve Eddie.

I only recently learned that Eddie’s character is based on Damien Echols. One of 3 men wrongfully convicted of my nephew Stevie Branch’s murder, along with his friends Christopher Byers and Michael Moore. I’m in tears after watching this. Damien was nothing like the city of West Memphis, AR wanted us to think he was. I saw where Damien said his “heart exploded” watching the final scene and guitar of Eddie Munson. Damien, Jason and Jesse were freed from prison in 2011. To the city of West Memphis the murders are still solved. But we know the real killer walks free. I’ve met Damien and I only wish that back then they would have been treated fairly. One can always hope for justice in the end….

Eddie's death surved a greater purpose he was a hero if he hadn't done what he did Vecna could have gotten the upper hand he kept them preoccupied long enough to really help. He was one of elevens soldiers in the war between good and evil and without him evil would have taken a lot more than it did that day. Such a beautiful edit you captured his character perfectly!
