It's heartbreaking the fact that he sacrificed himself for a town who absolutely hated him, and believed him to be a murder. Eddie deserved so much more then that. The scene where Dustin is telling Eddie's uncle about him is heartbreaking, and so is his death scene itself. I cried watching both those scenes, and the "This is for you Chrissy" at the beginning of the guitar scene, and especially the line " I didn't run away this time, right?" was heartbreaking to me. Gatens emotion in his death scene made the scene even more heartbreaking. Eddie is a hero. I know this comment is fairly long but I just wanted to make it as a tribute for Eddie. #JUSTICEFOREDDIE

the duffer brothers had to plan eddie's death at the end of volume 2 because they could not just leave him out, according to what i have recently heard, regardless, eddie's character was full of potential, one of the deaths that really hit me in stranger things, unfortunately, joseph quinn, who played eddie munson, thought he was not good enough for his role, eddie basically sacrificed his life for a town that despised him :(
