My thing is about him saying Prime ain’t SWAC. Just because Prime didn’t go to a SWAC school does not mean his current affiliation should be discounted. If Prime is the coach of a SWAC school, that makes him a part of the conference. It’s like he tried to drive that home on a super personal level. If this guy really loved his conference like is saying he does, he should be grateful to Prime for all the attention he has brought to the conference. Prime has increased the conferences presence on the national level and you can’t even pay for exposure like that.

Regardless. ASU was wrong in his approach. The SWAC said if Prime quits, you’re messing with house money, and a bigger payday in the future. HBCU are trying to get recruits and turn the tides competitively, this is nothing more than jealousy and division among the ranks.
