@@yannickcolot2319 Yes, Eddie looks way smoother. We just can't compare how strong they are. Eddie's got technique, but what if Brian's brute force is enough, that he really doesn't NEED a smooth technique? Having followed both their strongman careers, Brian has always been clunky, always smile when he does his "double-step" when turning in the loading events, which always costs him time 😅. This will be a very interesting match. I've wanted Brian to go into this sport for so, so long, hoping for another Richard Lupkes, seems promising technique-wise. Or lack of! So similar built guys. Lupkes is absolutely one of my favorite arm wrestlers, up there with John. Not just because his enormous brute strength, but how kind, and respectful he always is.

Brian looks a lot more robotic on the table, the thing is: on top of his strength, he seems to have really good instincts on what to do, judging by his mock match: there he changed his set up and also was able to re-grip and advance his position during the match. I hope it's a good competitive match, it would be a huge spotlight cor armwrestling.

At this point I'm rooting for Eddie...even though I'm from the west and got into arm wrestling because of Devon Larratt. He's gotten so annoyingly and obnoxiously cocky. Now he seems to have passed that on to Shaw. This video is so much more entertaining and professional than what they're doing on Shaw's channel. Like silly influencer videos where they go to Planet Fitness and then what seems like short sessions with Devon and his son blowing up Shaw's ego. I want to see Eddie destroy Shaw in a very technical way.
