I'm just glad I was blessed to hear their voices on our local alternative radio station Grunge was one of the genre's that was one hell of a group of individuals who knew how to make music and connect with their audience when playing live. The 90's will live on forever!!!

Losing Chris then Chester, I was heartbroken. They both saved me from the very thing that killed them. Suicide is worse than murder. It leaves everyone in a state of insanity. No one will ever know the true reason why. I can only pray that God lay them both into the choir. Love and prayers to the Cornell and Bennington families. Your fathers and husbands and sons were true life savers.

I do too I thinks it’s just nice to see and feel genuine human emotion. I don’t know how old you are but I grew up on this music. These great men. It was a different time. You didn’t need the picture to post for it to really have happened. You lived for the moment. I think that’s what I mourn too. Real emotion.lost in it. Even when it hurts.

I too lost my daughter to suicide. Our beloved Kristi was 26 and in a relationship she felt trapped. My heart eternally aches for her. There's such a hole left in the hearts and lives of those who have experienced this. Beautiful tribute!

"Black" was Chris's favorite Pearl Jam song, this is making me cry like a baby! Eddie's has had so much death of family and friends. Eddie we're so sorry you lost your best friend. Chris took Eddie under his wings he wasn't that welcome in the Seattle scene, big part of Andrew Wood dying of Mother Love Bone but Chris stuck by him and became so close, such a heartbreaking story!! Rock n Roll since the late 70s had a genre that swept up the hearts and minds of huuuuge crowds of teens, punk then post punk then glam rock/ arena rock, grunge, post grunge Alternative rock, then another Brit rock wave, then rap rock, then we had in the mid to late 00s Emo/screamo rock.. and that was it.. there hasn't been a wave of Rock genre in over a decade..

I was in Italy with my ex girlfriend when I found out Chris had died. I went out from the bar, sparked up a cigarette, listened to Follow My Way off Euphoria Morning and just cried. Grunge died a little more that day.
