Eddie Vedder does so much honor to Warren Zevon with this performance. I loved Warren Zevon for his weirdness and wild spirit, as much as his music. Not too many like him anymore. Of course Eddie Vedder is doing a Warren Zevon song. Warren always said that Dave Letterman was his biggest booster. I was lucky by birth and cirumstance. The Warren Zevon self titled album came out the year I was 20, and I lived around Los Angeles, so my best friend and I went to see Warren from the beginning. Many a great night at the Roxy in West Hollywood.
