Love Pearl Jam, but this is honestly one of the best covers I’ve ever heard. Eddie has one of those voices that feels as if he’s going to barely miss a note, then he absolutely hits it, effortlessly. Obviously, he hits every note that he writes for himself, but this gave me a deeper respect for his singing capability.

I'll actually agree with this. I steadfastly refused to accept all the Eddie Vedder that was coming at me in the 90's, but I have to say I've been nothing but impressed with the guy and his choices for the last 20 years or so. This performance has heart, as I've noticed most everything he does seems to. I'd be moved if it was my song.

I have to be honest: I've never been a fan of Eddie Vedder or Pearl Jam. Never gave him or them a chance, in hindsight probably because of the caricatured versions of Vedder and his voice that have floated around pop culture for decades. This performance floored me, and I have a newfound appreciation of this man's considerable talent. Amazing.

I love how Eddie has come full circle as probably one of the last frontman from the grunge Era to still do his own thing. He truly was put on this earth to sing. Growing up in the greater puget sound area I had my doubts after Andy died, but since the Mookie Blaylock days Vedder was a tremendous performer and he hasn't wavered since. Just a wonderful rendition of U2's "one".

I was a senior in high school in 1993 when grunge was exploding. Pearl Jam was my absolute favorite into this day Eddie vedder's voice takes me back to when I worked at a fast food restaurant, my paycheck paid for gas, weed, and CD's... What I would give to go back... I remember the first time I heard ONE... Blew my freaking angsty teenage mind and the fact that Eddie Vedder's covering this amazing song blows my 47 year old mind just as much. This is BEAUTIFUL
