Matt’s response could also be a jab at how Tom ran Eddsworld given how(from what I recall), he underestimated the cost of episodes so he would have to pay it out of pocket. Making production “bumpy” from a misguided direction, “late” in how costs would hurt production time, and “running costs were outrageous” again being animation costs for what could be perceived as a short amount of time. Of course I’m pretty sure Matt included this line not as a means to bash how Tom ran things given that they’re friends, but to show how he’s not gonna over promise anything and hurt the show as a result.

While Mark is consoling Eduardo about going outside more often, if you listen carefully, you can faintly hear the scream that Tord did in the eddisode "Moving Targets" and if you pause at the right time while the crowd is fleeing away, you can see a silhouette of Tord fleeing as well....

It feels weird watching this episode at first with how quiet scenes feel without background music until I remembered how Edd's eddisodes lacked any kind of background music during the episode. It was something the Legacy series added to the show when it became more serialised under Tom's run. I see a few comments about Tom's new voice and I get it's not the same but his vocal characterisation of the character is spot on and I think will continue to get better and more familiar over time. Great work!

Who would have guessed, of Edd, Tom, Tord and Matt, that it would be Matt who ends up the last man standing? And who would have guessed that he would do such a brilliant job? There's a fantastic irony to this, Matt's charicter was always vain and self-obsessed, caring only about himself, but 10 years later, it is Matt who is in charge of the show, and has to consider all of the characters to keep the show running. This looks, sounds and feels like a classic eddsworld episode, and I couldn't be more thankful for it. Writing, animation, acting, sound and music could not be improved upon in my opinion. Thank you so much for keeping this world spinning.
