Thankyou for going out of your way into giving your viewers a diverse location to keep them interested in your channel, which this viewer certainly is. You are even willing to freeze so we don't have to. Krackow proves to be very cosmopolitan. I would have been worried about the language barrier, but aren't we lucky everyone seems to understand English to varying degrees. They all show you respect because you give them respect. You've shown us how beautiful Krackow and the old town is in beautiful Poland. The architecture and history is awesome.

Eddy , Poland looks a beautiful and spotlessly clean country. I’ve often watched videos of the country and always thought it looked absolutely stunning. I know a few Polish people in Scotland and are all so friendly and extremely hard working people . The city looks amazing with historical buildings churches ,statues etc . Although looks like you need to wrap up really warmly. Great video 👍

There were lots of Polish people who came into Scotland and worked hard and made money to take back to Poland, to help to get themselves set up. Looks really clean there Eddie, and buildings look magnificent.Where is your warm jacket???

Krakow is class mate. I'm from Scotland got mates from there known a very, very long time. Polish weddings are ace, like a two day binge with food. My mates I like keep winding them up with Malta flags (reverse of Poland's actual flag) on Whatsapp. Beers on the square in summer are the best. Only rule is only Wilsa for football not the other team. Salt mines are ace (mate was a guide), Park Wodny (water park is class too). Too much to do. Writing half way through video but there's a market in the building in the middle of the square I'll call it the cloth hall you'll like it. Castle too with the Dragon.

Great vlog! What you're saying about there being no black people in Krakow reminds me of when Trevor Noah said the exact same thing about Glasgow a number of years ago! He still enjoyed his visit though! If you've been to Hungary then you've probably already been to the most racist place in Europe (sorry nice Hungarians, it what other Hungarians and friends who've been there have told me)...I've not heard much good about it beyond the nice buildings. I'll get to Poland one day, it's been on my bucket list for ages. the Czech Republic's a good place t visit. What you experienced customer-service wise is fairly typical, they don't really do small talk the way the UK and Ireland do.

Hey Eddy, good to see you galavanting in my old country! I can't believe you went to Poland in November without a jacket and gloves. I thought you knew it was cold there or I would have let you know. It's funny that you keep asking if there are black people there... lol.. Poland is historically a white country so any black people you see have immigrated there or are visiting. I didn't see a black person until I was maybe 10 years old when I grew up there. If you think about it, it's not much different than when you go to many countries in Africa and you primarily only see black people there (and white people are stared at, from what I hear). By the way, your Polish pronunciation is pretty good. The money is złoty (PLN is just an international code, really standing for Poland). In Polish the letter "W" is pronounced V... So Wawel Castle is pronounced "vavel." Kraków is pronounced "Krak-oof" in Polish. Glad you had a great time in Poland. Look forward to you next visit to Poland.

We, Poles, aren't, mostly, racist. We just lack this shallow political correctness, but when You hear a jewish, black, russian or german joke, You should know it's not, in most cases, inteded to harm anyone, it's just a joke.

People on camera will act differently. I lived in a predominantly Polish neighborhood in Chicago and my neighbors were the most racist people I'd ever met. I do have to make a distinction between Polish immigrants and those who were born in this country. I did not see the racism in the American born Polish, only the new immigrants.
@annother335021 сағат бұрын
In the UK we have had influxes of polish people. They are renowned for being hardworking decent people. Not renowned for racism in the slightest
@laurakennedy925015 сағат бұрын
@@annother3350 I'm sure that's the case with you. I was speaking about a particular neighborhood in Chicago. Any time somebody who was not white moved into the neighborhood they started a crusade to drive them out. They would report them to different city agencies over and over until they finally left. They did this to our Hispanic neighbors who bought and sold their house within a year. They did it to us also because my husband was Assyrian. They reported us to city inspectors about our backyard, they would come and say everything was okay. Inspectors came to investigate our basement because they were told somebody was living there. They also said it was okay. I joked with my friend that the only place they didn't call was Child Protective Services. And then guess who showed up at my door the next week! When my husbands cousin came to visit somebody told her "Aren't you in the wrong neighborhood?" Nasty, nasty people. I'm glad the situation is better in the UK.
