Kathy LaGreca super easy. Very stable when getting in and out. I have used it while snorkeling. Perfect for that as well. I sit sideways with my feet in the water all the time. Like sitting on the dock. Love this boat.

you mentioned Linda in this video. I live in Florida and have called Headwaters twice for advice. I told her I would buy in Florida but I so respect your opinions that I wouldn't purchase without speaking to someone at Headwaters. The nearest Eddyline dealer is 2 hours away. Linda was so awesome on the phone. I know she's busy but she took the time to help me think through my decision. I can't thank her enough. I purchased the Eddyline Carebbean 12 FS in red/silver. Love it! First trip 9 reds and 6 trout. Today I called again to get advice on a PFD after watching your videos. Again Linda helped me think through it even finding someone in the shop with my exact phone to make sure it would fit. She goes the extra mile and is a credit to your shop. Wish you would open a Jacksonville Store! Keep up the good work and great videos and give Linda a raise! lol

There are people who sell kayaks to make a buck and there are people who sell kayaks because they love kayaking and are passionate about helping others learn about the sport. Three guess which group Dan belongs to... Great review! It is always good to ride along with someone who loves the outdoors and exploring it in a kayak! I just wish Headwaters were here where I live in Maine instead of near where I used to live in California...

Dan, your love for what you do is always clear in person and in your vids. I bought my first Caribbean, a 12, from Headwaters a few years ago. Decided to move up to a 14 a few years later, which I also got from Headwaters. Personnel and service before, during, and after the purchase were first-rate. Living in Arizona now makes my visits less frequent, but I hope to see you again there one day. Cheers.

I bought an 10.9, I am 65 yo 5.2 and 140 In female, have watched all videos trying to get back into the yak after falling out and I cannot do it, tried everything except the paddle blowup cover, it always tips over when I try, scares me that I cannot get back in if I fallout for some reason, any idea’s?

True story: The Caribbean series from Eddyline is tragically underrated. Light, fast, easy to paddle . . . And yes, you can stand up and fish from them. I freaking love my 12 so much I'm ordering a 14 with a rudder for offshore.

Tell Ethan at Eddyline that I bought a Sandpiper 130 because of the review that you did. I'm in Arkansas or I would've bought from Headwaters. So, you should at least get partial credit for selling one in AR. Love the reviews and your passion shows.

I am tired of buying kayaks. Started with the Hobie but didn’t think to lift it on the demo. I now have another that is lighter but slow and wide. I am small (5-2”/135lbs) but want to access big lakes. I live on a skinny river and like to fish. Will this 109 fit the bill? I am attracted to the Sandpiper 130 because it looks like a more efficient paddle. I’ll demo both, but that is just a snapshot. Looking for some wisdom. Thanks in advance.

Hey Dan, I'm eventually going to upgrade from my 10ft pescador. I'm a new paddler (I've only been out 5 times so far). The Caribbean looks really appealing. I love in Kentucky, so the closest Eddyline dealer is in Ohio. I'm hoping they'll allow me to try one. I'm 5'5" and 180lbs. I paddle slow moving rivers and flat waters. I have a Ram short bed truck that I haul the pescador in. In your opinion and experience, which Caribbean should I consider? I know the 10'9" would for well with a little overhang, would the 12 be ok in the short bed? Thanks for your awesome videos, they've been very informative and entertaining.

Btw, I got my crescent light tackle after watching your review and, to further that, I watched that video you did about paddling 101 and bought a BB angler navigator.
