Took my new eddyline 14 on its maiden voyage yesterday. Left from the backyard on the Mississippi River. 3 miles from the house down to Babcock Park in Elk river MN. She handles excellent, Portage is easy, easily outpaces all the competitor sit-on-top yaks. It's super comfy, lightweight, maneuverable and stylish. I spent about three months reading and learning about all the other Yaks out there. I was just about settled on a tarpon 160 when I learned about Delta and eddyline. The eddyline 14 is literally the boat for me. The only thing I would change about it is build in some airtight buoyancy Chambers as literally the night I bought this a family of 5 stupidly tested Mother Nature out on Lake Superior and a father, 3, 6 & 9 year old all died trying to paddle 4 miles from Madeline Island to Michigan Island. I don't know what brand of yak they had but it was 13 and a half foot sit on top and it filled with water in rough sea. It's just an idea for an added safety feature. Also an optional way to attach a pedal drive or Hobi drive would be cool. But I like how the eddyline 14 scoots right over 3 inch deep water.
