Fun fact, this is actualy based on a pen and paper roleplay originally from sweden. And yes, you actually play as mutants in the zone, trying to keep your ARC working and maybe, rise up from the ashes of the past.

I just wanted to point out the "Postmord deliveries"-van. It's a joke about the Nordic postal service Postnord, except "mord" means murder. And I guess the snail just represent their ability to (almost) always deliver late.

@@YourPalKindred Not exactly, it's really beautiful to see how perfect this run was. He had to change team multiple times each mission, prepare different equipments... Darkest dungeon is a lot more repetitive in my opinion. (Unless he uses mods, in that case I'm down with it)

It definitely feels like the confrontation with the elder is missing! Hopefully the dlc wraps that up. It also makes me wish for Divinity 2 or Dragon Age: Origins in your style.

@@jasonscarborough94 it seems that he’s artificially increasing his lifespan, not only was he a top scientist but in his room there are a bunch of blood bags and IV bags, it’s possible he found some way to keep himself alive for much longer than normal

You really have to respect that not only does Pete do a completionist playthrough in which he shows all there is to see (Or as much as there is to see in one playthrough), but he even takes the time to figure out how to do the final mission with all the party members! This is why I love this channel. Just the genuine appreciation for games and the will to show them off to the audience!

The Bearded Ladies Consulting which is the developers are Swedish, Mutant Year zero is a Swedish IP started in the 80's as a Pen and paper RPG. As a Swedish Gamedeveloper myself I know it is common in Sweden to have QA outsourced to east europe. EDIT: The Publisher is actually Norwegian

Still Bormin, cause he gets revived. And I believe Dux still says the line - as there is no true permadeath in the game (which makes sense as you can't really replace them - it's not XCOM)

In the tabletop rpg Mutant Year zero everyone plays as human mutants (the only human character is the Elder and he's an npc). You have to buy an expansion to play as an animal mutant. Then I think there's the robot expansion and then the human expansion. They all got their own metaplot. Muntant Year 0 is the second reboot of mutant. The first one, Heirs of the Apocalypse is from early 2000s. Original game is from the 80s-90s.

The ending to the main story feels a bit shallow. Like there wasn’t really a final boss I mean there was the person trying to get into endin honestly the lux felt more like a boss

3 years later and I only started playing the game recently. I watched all series of the base game, it helped me a lot to understand some mechanics since I hadn't played this type of game before. However, I would like to see other forms of approach, a challenge for example without silent weapons so that the enemies have some chance lol. Congratulations on the videos, it seems like you participated in the development of the game due to the meticulousness of your choices.
