THANK YOU! My school decided to basically give us regular level exams (unseen questions AND marked by the board) but a month earlier, so this is great for quick revision!

as usual so straight forward and easy to understand thank you! i wanted to ask about paper 3 for edexcel, do i need to revise the core practicals or are they not included? i'm a bit lost as im self teaching. cheers :)

22:25 how do we know they are the same
@salemabrahaley277417 күн бұрын
the reaction produces 1 mole of each, and the volume is the same for both as they're in the same container. so its the same concentration

same i am confused i have exam tomorrow 😭

@30:32 why is it not 3 moles of SO2Cl2 as you only used 1 mole in your ICE table, but in the previous example you used 2 moles 18:02

Sir, at 23:00, how do you know the two products have the same concentration? Thank you
@ItsTheEddemundos2 жыл бұрын
Looking at the reaction equation the products are formed in a 1:1 ratio - so they are going to be produced in equal amounts and will have the same concentration
@RahimaO Жыл бұрын
@@ItsTheEddemundos they will have the same number of moles bc of 1:1 ratio sure but how do you know the conc in both are the same
@cybro89252 жыл бұрын
21:07 how can any of those species be put in the Kc expression if they're all liquids?
@ItsTheEddemundos2 жыл бұрын
they're all in the same state (i.e. liquid) so it's a homogeneous reaction - omitting pure liquids/solids only applies to heterogeneous reactions

at 23:00, how do you know the two products have the same concentration? Thank you
@JackM-un8co Жыл бұрын
From the equation, they are in equal moles (1:1) and the total volume is the same, then if concentration= moles/volume and they have the same moles, concentration will be the same.
@juliabenvs827 Жыл бұрын
yeah but then why dont the reactants - ethanoic acid and ethanol - have the same concentration as well?? shouldnt they be the same?

@@JackM-un8co Hi, how do you know total volume is the same?

@salemabrahaley277417 күн бұрын
mass was given, mass/mr=moles

18:00 wouldn’t it be 0.72- - 0.430 = 1.15
