True, I don't think I even took into consideration the era's of music the players that I mention focus on. I don't want you to think that I don't like Edgar Cruz though: I'm still amazed by his arrangements. Very good stuff, and I can only hope that one day I'll be as good a guitarist as he is.

@MrGuitarClassical I will agree that Edgar Cruz is a very talented Classical Guitarist. But I don't think I'd be confident in saying that he's number. You should check out the following: Manuel Barrueco, David Russell, William Kanengiser, Ana Vidovic is also very good! I was amazed by her performance of "J.S Bach Sonata BWV 1001 Presto Gm", John Williams's recording of "Recuerdos de la Alhambra" was absolutely Beautiful.

@BostonBoy15100 It's hard to know that classical guitar is number one, Edgar Cruz arranges contemporary music and I think that there are no comparisons with the performers you mention, they are all great guitarists, only William Kanengiser has made arrangements to contemporary music.
