Wow you guys need to offer this. Makes power so low compared to Rotax. I would be interested for sure and I think many others would too. For those that don’t want to deal with the reduction drive and high revving Rotax. This thing makes power right off idle.

Much closer to what it should be. Jabiru should be around 111kw for its displacement, not 90kw. Factory VE is only about 80%

Next month (January 2022) I am replacing the Gen-2, 2200 in my Skystar Pulsar III with a Gen-4, 3300. I’ll be watching your development of this system closely. I am definitely a potential sale, if Edge determines this combination meets their standards.

I have a Gen 4, Jabiru 3300 in the box to install in my Zenith 750 STOL. Will you be producing a conversion kit for this engine? I’m in no hurry, as I still have to finish the aircraft..

Do you have an estimated date on release? Looking to only normalize with a turbo for higher flight levels but if you have a setup soon I may take a look at your kit. Gen 2 motor.

Nice. Custom camshaft with extra RPM? Care to share the Recipe? Im considering building a Turbo 3300 with the liquid cooled heads. But Gen 4 Jugs are now different to gen 3 which LCH would fit. Gen 4 is forged Crank and Rods , Does new crank fit older crank case? Dont think Jabiru would help out a "hotrodder" with this stuff.

No internal mods. Only efi and electronic ignition control.

Brendan, Have your reviewed a Jabiru overhaul manual?? All the ones I have show that the crankshaft on all engines is forged 4140 steel and that the rods are forged or billet. Hotrodding a direct drive aircraft engine doesn't require a "big cam", it requires carefully optimizing VE in the cruise RPM range (2,800-3,200) and making sure fuel distribution is equal to all cylinders to enable lean of peak operations. If your are thinking of a turbo, I'd suggest turbonormalizing vs turbocharging; no need to change to lower compression pistons but you may need a controllable pitch/constant speed prop to take advantage of sea level power @ 18,000 feet.
