I use that same UD brush (from a Naked Palette) for concealer too...great use of the forbidden shimmer on a more 'mature' woman. This video is a nice tribute to women, two gals, playing with makeup (no insult, I'm a MUA too...), caring for your child, just being normal.

I was always told by my core teacher not to use powder eyeshadow on older women because it sinks into their creases more...but it didn't look like you ran into that problem?? It looked great. What is your opinion on this? Thanks for uploading

I think that's true for older formulations of powder eyeshadow/shitty powder eyeshadow. These days powders can be so creamy and finely milled I don't have that issue. But the core idea behind what she is saying is rooted in truth, you want to make sure that you hydrate hydrate hydrate with dry/textured skin and avoid things that can make it look papery. I think the reason people say things like this is the same reason they say not to use shimmer. It may have been true when "shimmer" meant "glitter" but now we have a lot more options and a lot more freedom. I am a real big fan of cream eyeshadows btw. Thanks for watching!!

i have to respectfully disagree with the shiny eye shadow under the eye. i thought it accentuated her wrinkles. don't get me wrong she is pretty. but us mature women have to be careful not to make those dawn wrinkles stand out.
