Exsudes feelings is the part of the performance of the band and singers, missing in today’s music. Edie is a genuine head and heart in singing..it has a touch of angelic voice playing to the band as well to the audience.. ❤️😎🗝✝️🙏🏼🇺🇸

I love Edie. She's such a beautiful person...and her band is awesome. Have always loved them from the start, since I first saw What I Am around summer 1988. Great music is eternal!

The good old days with good musicians! Today’s music isn’t the same. People don’t play real instruments. I like some music but I left my heart right here in the 80s

I had the opportunity to see Edie Brickell and New Bohemians live back around.....late 1990, I think.....I think it was the Ghost of a Dog tour.....in a very small club in Poughkeepsie called "The Chance".......every seat was a good seat.....that was a really good show......they were excellent.
@seanegan32963 жыл бұрын
No way...I don't know how I missed that show at the Chance. Tiny little venue. Is it still there? I first saw them 7/14/90 opening up for the Grateful Dead in Foxboro, MA. I was right up front. My face was melting and I was totally transfixed on Edie.

@@seanegan3296 That's cool....I didn't know they opened for the Dead.....I'm not sure if the Chance is still there....I was only down there for about 6 months....saw two shows there...New Bohemians and a Pink Floyd tribute band whose name I can't remember (The Machine, maybe?)....They were actually really good....but yeah....back to Edie and New Bohemians......I really enjoyed that show...that environment was perfect for them. All I can say is that Paul Simon is one lucky guy ;-)

I saw them open for Bob Dylan in 1989 in Glasgow. I was 18 and explaining to my dad (a massive Dylan fan) who they were.

Kenny is an awesome guitarist, perfect example of a great band, groovy, raw, exciting, and then ruined when a major record label signs them, controls them, fires their drummer and destroys their soul. Sad. 😞

How much caffeine is coursing through this interviewers bloodstream? Could he speak any faster? Is there a big cash bonus for the amount of words he spews forth?😮
