Whoever designed this crap does not know how railways work. Installation requires too much labour. The rail will be hard to replace. The elastomer will decompose if rail heats significantly. Heating happens with rail grinding, wheel slip and when welding continuous track. There seems to be no provision for axle counters. Thermal expansion can cause the rail to debond from the elastomer.
