Casey, you're the man! You've helped me grab DaVinci Resolve by the horns and beat it around! I published my first video yesterday and I have to thank you and a handful of other DaVinci Resolve pros on KZbin sharing golden advice for the great quality I managed to produce! Keep up the good work and loving these 5 minute tutorials!

Hi. Tell me, how can I highlight a few clips in the timeline with smart filters ? I make short version on my film, I colors my clips, but didn't find a way to select them at once in edit page ? ... and then move them to the color page.

in the edit tab I only have one image, how to turn on the second. I sooner had two, one preview and the other from the timeline.

My timeline section doesn’t look like this and I don’t know what to do. It has another timeline-looking section above what yours looks like. So it’s like 2 timelines. And the top timeline shows only a blue bar for each clip, no image/video attached like yours. My main timeline edge (what you’re working in here in this video) is in the middle of the section instead of all the way to the left edge. I wish I could share a picture of my screen, but if ANYONE has experienced this, please help!

I have a question that doesn't concern this video. Have you ever seen the Coors light freeze the world commercial? Do you know how that was created? And can you do that?

Hi Casey, can you make a tutorial in which you show how to edit shots, so it seems they were taken in golden hour (when they are actually taken on another moment of the day)? Hope so! Thanks!

Hey Casey, thanks for all your videos and effort, i really appreciate that! I wonder if there is a way to realize a before/after view on the edit page to show the clip without any modifications on the left side and the clip with all effects on the right side (as it is possible in Fusioin view by binding MediaIn to 1 and Media Out to 2)?

How do I unlock audio and video clips to do j and l cuts?
@nikolaiivanov1753 жыл бұрын
Hello, i have a problem, when i open the edit page and place media there (doesnt mattare if its video or sound) it doesnt look the same way as it looks in the video. It only stays as a blue bar or a green bar, therefore if i try something like fading the sound i just dont have the option to do it.

One thing I don't understand yet is why it's possible to have more than one video track in the editor. Why a V1 and V2 line stacked on top of one another when the final product will be viewed as a single track? Why would I want to have more than one video track?

It’s just so you have some room to work or to layer things, just like you’d have layers in photoshop, they can combine together into a final image,
