Thank you for this but I got an issue: Whenever I fill out a test form, the automation creates a new record instead of modifying the existing one (and at the same time, keeps the old one). What should I do?

That's amazing. Could that Button send an email including the form (cause the person won't be a Airtable user, and doesn't need to see the table, just to update a record) ? or is it only possible to do so with a share view of Airtable ?

Sure! You can send the button in email, text, etc. Anywhere you can share a URL

You can populate a concatenate formula with any fields/conditions that you like. However, you cannot highlight specific fields in Airtable. When you apply color in Airtable it applies to an entire record.

Sure! Instead of sharing a view like we do in this video, you can email the individual links created to your clients, one by one. I'd recommend doing this with an automation. 🎉

@@GarethPronovost Great thanks! Yeah, actually, I know it. I have create a form with generating a unique url for each customer using formula, so it's good now. The fields on this form will be filled out based on prefill_ parameters. In this case, I want to use prefilled_ fields in the automation workflow, so when they submit a form, automation workflow will update an existing record based on record id. Of course, the url I generated contains a record id. I know automation, but I can't find any solution of how to use prefill_ paramters in automation workflow. Are you able to have a call with me? Glad this is helpful! Unfortunately you can't create a view using automation, it has to be done manually.

This is a really great workaround for editing existing records, but I don't see a way a customer could add a new line to their order, is that correct?

That's right, although you can build a second form/button solution that uses a similar workflow for new additions. Creating a new record is simpler, since this is the native function of the form (you won't need an additional table/automation)
