It's always exciting to see new filmmakers rise up that bring something special to KZbin. And in 2019 I haven't seen anyone else hit it as perfectly as Peter Lindgren. So I just found out about him about a week ago, but I instantly got hooked. If you haven't heard of him, you HAVE to check his channel:

The videos that probably caught all of our attention were the ones with the insanely well-made b-roll sequences. In toda'y video I choose three of those for us to look at and analyse a little.

Been watching this dude for a while and he is inspirational I am trying to impliment broll in my videos, but it can be tricky with no gimble. Practice makes perfect

@@FlorianLand most of my footage involves moving in and out and around cars so staying super smooth is pretty important as well as whipping zooming etc transitions that I normally forget then think aaah man wish I'd remembered to do that

Great video again Florian! 💪 One thing I thought of (just a little detail) is if you can move the video you are watching on your screen to the left side of your screen so that we can see more of your face and easier catch more of your reactions and face expression. 🙂 Keep creating value like this my man! 💪

Florian, excellent breakdown, this guy is amazing. I am definitely going to check out this guy's channel...the guy was almost perfect...I caught, just one OOPsy, only because one of my hobbies is woodworking, the average person will not catch it...at min 4:48 the square slides from the top then it's on the bottom. Other than that figgin Perfect. I LOVE the sound design, would love to see a video of how he matches up the sound to the video motion, that is just amazing. My hat's off as well.

Another great video! Question... When editing audio for Broll, Do you record the actual audio and use that? Or does the audio entirely come from a downloadable pack/website?

Thank a lot, Brandon! Glad to hear :) What I usually do is that I record audio in camera an ideally use that for the sounds effects because it will sound most natural. However for example when you record in more than 60fps most cameras dont record audio anymore, so you have to find sound effects online and add them in post. I get mine from here: bit.ly/Flos-Music-and-SoundEffects
