Nice interview! 3 things I'm taking from it: - 4 steps to enlightenment: Forgive, surrender, utilize and serve - Overcome procrastination: Do something! Even if it fails. It doesn't need to be grand - When selling: State your intentions. The more clear you are about your intentions, the more likely you are to get them I felt closing up when Marshall said he was an hypnotist, but then I opened up to listeb and learn from your experience. I guess you did hypnotized me 😅

Ed, WAY back, my stepmother sent me Marshall Sylver's book 'Passion, Profit, and Power'. She also sent me a set of cassette tapes and the VHS version of the Passion, Profit and Power seminar. She and my father had been to a couple of his seminars and had seen some amazing things happen. I poured over the material repeatedly, and it changed my life for the better. I don't have a magnificent success story, nor great wealth to share from it. This was before the internet was even really a thing. But the universe is pointing a giant finger in a certain direction for me, and several big indicators have presented themselves to me this week alone. Seeing that you interviewed Marshall, and hearing what he had to say, was a big one. His teaching is very congruent with your own, and it's very interesting to see how we each translate that into a different vernacular. (is that the right word?) Or a different way of describing what it is. Thank you for this. I'd absolutely love a coaching session with both or either of you guys, and until that day, I'm going to continue working on my RAS, and TAKE ACTION NOW!! Thanks Ed and Marshall! Passion, Profit, and Power to you both!

Procrastinate is self sabotage. It's the number one thing I'm fighting (successfully) Really really nice talk. Thank you Ed. I'll need to listen again I think. Yes to end procrastination, you must take a first action. If not, in creeps the anxiety and self doubt. The adversary wants you to procrastinate. It buys him the time he needs to start messing with/manipulating your thoughts.

The best part of this was @28:00 " if you are trying to conceal that you are selling something you immediately become untrustworthy" I have been beating myself up with, okay I'll say it, Beachbody coaching. I LOVE IT! No, I am not looking for customers here, just getting to a point. Curiosity marketing is the thing where we don't tell people what we are doing just show videos and pictures and never mentioning that I do home workouts. Hey, I lost 100 pounds with this stuff. I am no longer suicidal or depressed and now I do that silly infomercial, home workouts instead of eating myself to death because I had so much pain. THIS IS BETTER! So I am not supposed to tell people what I am doing when so many people I know are depressed? I am not supposed to tell people about what I am doing because I am afraid that instead of my website they would go to Beachbody or some other coach or Amazon? I am not supposed to tell people that because I may sound too "salsey"? (not a word, I know) I am hook line and sinker all for the company and the people in the company because I feel like I would be dead if I had not got in by either heart attack or my own hand. Why would I keep that a secret?

First - there used to be this toy called a Weeble - the commercial for it used to say "Weebles wobble but they don't fall down." every time I am feeling down I recite that line - it's like a mantra that keeps me going even in the toughest times. Second - best take away is TAKE ACTION NOW - it doesn't have to be huge, but it has to be something. I've heard this before about getting over procrastination, but for some reason this hit me deeper. I'm always pondering "massive action" and what that looks like and forget about the one step forward EQUALING massive action over time! As always, thank you for this Mr. Mylett and thank you to Mr. Sylver for such a great wealth of learning.

Ed, this video is the BOMB!!! I have watched this video nearly a dozen times. I now see things about me and my business of why I am where I am, what I'm supposed to do and more. But let me share a few things that may inspire the community. What Marshall told about his wedding and the bird is so true! In my early 20's I met my soul mate and it didn't work out due to a handful of friends she ran with who was going to get married and to the wrong guys. I gave my predictions and was dead on for the most part. So they became men haters and lead my ex down the road of drugs and alcohol. But here's the thing that has changed my life. While we were together for 4 years, no matter where I was or what I was doing the first thing she did when she was away and came home or to my work, which her dad was my boss. was to give a huge hug and kiss. I was in bliss and I don't think people, especially now aways know and understand the power of love. You could have rubbed poop in my face and I would have said is that all you have to offer? Anyways I was at my brother's for St. Patty's day and saw a movie with a couple splitting up and I had a gut feeling but never gave it much thought. When I go home she was not there and when she came home, she stayed in the kitchen, went to the bedroom and then to the bathroom and then came to me. Right then I knew. I was distant the rest of the day and that night in bed after she kept asking what was wrong I told her she was going to leave. Well, two weeks later she did. The Law of Return came in to play and the person she left me for did the exact same thing to her about 9 months. But here is what I want to get to. I was crushed and like a woman a ball of emotions. I had lost 30 pounds in 30 days and down to about 135-140 pounds. I was sitting in my recliner and I heard this woman's voice named Mary. I was losing it as if someone was playing a cruel prank. This happened a few times and I decided I'm going crazy and can't control it. I grabbed the phonebook (to tell my age) and looked up mental hospitals to check myself into. Mary said I keep telling you what to do and what will happen, but you won't listen! She said how do I know these things? Then to prove it, she said this is what is going to happen tomorrow. I lost it. But ironically the next day things began to happen just as she said. Back home from work, I heard her voice and like see, I told you so. I went to Walmart as she told me, bought a journal and back home I wrote down everything this voice Mary told me. The two what doves appeared on my window sill. WIldlly, when I would go to another room, they would appear on that window sill. I tried to scare them off and they would fly back and away and then come right back. I even got into my truck and tried driving to my parents, to friends, etc. No matter where I went when I got there they would land on my truck. I came to realize that it was spirits, God, or angels protecting and watching over me. My ex ended up taking these journals and while she got her life straight 10 years later and now happily married, we are still like brother and sister. She still has those journals and won't give them up. It Is What It Is and I guess I am not to know what to happen. But when I post on social media or talk she will take a pic a pic of the journals to send me showing what I wrote down years ago. That is wild! About a year later, it is fall 1999 and if you remember there was a major hurricane that came up the east coast and like 3 million people were evacuating the southern panhandle. A week before I was getting over the flu. My brother came and drag me to our county fair. As soon as we walked in I saw this girl up ahead of use with a baseball hat, long blonde hair to the middle of her back, a flannel on, jeans and workboots. My brother says there you go, brother, meaning there one for me. I said, yeah I see her and I will date her if it is the last thing I do! My brother says we haven't even seen her front side and what she looks like so how do you know? I just did! I could just feel it. Even wilder is that later that day, she came us to us and knew a couple of friends. We got chatting and the next couple of days I went back to the fair and ran into her each day. I told her we were going on vacation to Nags Head, N.C. for a week and when I get back I am going to look her up. She said whatever. I got her address and by the time we got to Nags Head the hurricane had died down. All I could think about was this girl Tina and it was like I had been here before. Back home the next week I got all cleaned up and went to her apartment and as I pulled up I began to laugh as I used to live in that complex in college a few years earlier. I can't believe but as I stood at her door laughing saying this is wild as I used to live in the same exact apartment. I knocked and she opened the door in shock to see me. Of course, she wanted to know why I was laughing and I told her. Inside I said I bet you have the same bedroom as me. She did! Well we ended up dating and got engaged and she helped me first my first business and this is after my dark period of losing 10 people in 5 months.... my grandfather, dad, my 6 yr old son and his mother, a few best friends, and a few other family members. To take me on after all of that is mind-blowing as I was still dealing with the trauma. Sadly a jealous best friend had the hot for her and was going to live his wife and take over my business. Ironically I was his best man a few years earlier and they had an outdoor wedding. As soon as the lime rolls up with the girls, it got pitch black and strong thunderstorms came. The girls scattered to the limo and went back to their location to get all fixed back up and the sun came out again. This happened Ed 3 TIMES! My friend Matt who was recording the wedding caught me on video saying Terry, think about this, this is a BAD OMEN! About 5 years later that fate to a reality! His wife cleaned him when she found out about his plan. I can't speak for others and maybe this has happened to you or others. But, when I meet people like above, even if things don't work out months or years later I run across these people. Or, paying close attention, I will notice the SAME events or scenario play out. It may be with different people, but the exact same thing or events happen. That is where I have been keen enough with my awareness to stop and examine what happened the first time? I normally always change things the second time and get a different result. SO I say get in tune with yourself and pay attention! For me I get a gut feeling and when I do. I may not know what is going to happen, but I now know to pay attention to everything going on in my life. In business, which I do personal training. make and sell fitness wear, all-natural supplements, and work with pro athletes... The right people have shown up at the right time to help me in my business. On Feb 10th I will be 48 and back in Nov. I meet the young fitness model. She is dealing with a lot of insecurities and I was trying to help her out until this loser bodybuilder came on the scene. He inquired about working for me and a delay of the Christmas holiday I didn't have time to check him out. But when I did, he is bad news and in trouble with the law. So he went around me and contacted this model directly. Sadly we become like who we are around and he has drug her down to trying to do porn. He thinks he is going to be a major porn star. Wrong! I have tried to help and tell her about him along with showing her his criminal record. Of course, he is coming up with everything under the sun to make me and my companies look bad, Karma is coming for him! I hate to and maybe I'm wrong but I have complied all the stuff online that includes some serious defamation and sent it to the prosecutor and court (judge) for his upcoming case Feb 11th. Not sure if jail is the answer, but the guy seriously needs help! There is a ton of truth in what Marshall states in this video and I'll be looking into his work to further help me further myself. Thanks for this video!!!

Incredible episode. I just wish it would've went longer. The segment regarding relationships and people sending their representative really stuck out because I've always wondered how people end up in abusive relationships or discover something profound about their partner, AFTER they're married. This explains it.

Thanks again for your response. This morning as I was making my tea I was thinking about how you ask me what topics I would like you to discuss. Something I thought about is the importance of rituals or routines we go through in our daily lives. What occurred to me is that many entrepreneurs these days are going to be working from home. If they started their day the way they would if they were going to work at an office it could set their mindset into a more aggressive approach to their day. Rituals are almost a type of muscle memory when it comes to getting through the day. Almost fits in with, “Fake it till you make it “ as well. Once again, great presentation and thanks

@@marshallsylver939 I also noticed that the end of the "4th step", you complimented Ed and used the same four finger point hand gesture that Ed typically uses to put an exclamation on a statement (timestamp 22:45.) At 31:45 Ed touches your leg. Less than one minute later you bring It full circle and talk about mirror and match and how someone might touch your leg once you've built rapport! Your situational awareness is next level. Must have been all those years on stage! Do you think situational awareness is something you're born with, or is it something you can develop with practice? I would love to see you go into more detail about the leading and closing phase.

Also mostly when people know your story, it’s very easy for them to portray the opposite of what you considered a failure in the past. You subconsciously dotted out the path for them to follow. Which in turn you would then now be very intentional and careful in how you tread. So you almost automatically make it work. Simply because no one ever likes to be perceived as a failure. Especially to ex partners and the rest of society. Let’s be wise together and take responsibility. Again, I say this with utmost respect. 🙏🏽 thank you.
