LOVE is the most POWERFUL EMOTION in the world.
Today I'm talking about it with the one and only, JAY SHETTY. Who says LOVE is a CHOICE.
This week, Jay DEFINES LOVE, explaining why the best way to love someone involves liking their PERSONALITY, mutually RESPECTING each other's VALUES, and helping them achieve their GOALS.
You'll learn how to love OTHERS better, but more importantly how YOU CAN LET MORE LOVE IN!
Jay also has deep insights on…
Overcoming the ongoing challenges of COMPARING, COMPLAINING, and CRITICIZING your partner.
Why people sometimes GROW APART over time.
The 4 QUESTIONS you should ask to maintain a loving relationship.
The difference between an INTIMATE LOVING relationship and a FRIENDLY LOVING relationship.
The right way to think about “THE ONE” that comes into your life.
3 WAYS to meet the right people when you’re LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO LOVE.
Your GIFT and GAP EXPECTATIONS in a loving relationship.
The difference between LUST and LOVE and how you’re impacted by each one.
Losing SEXUAL ATTRACTION and how that affects the ways you love someone.
Defining the 4 LEVELS OF INTIMACY.
Why LOVE NEVER DIES, but what happens when other parts of your relationship do.
What you can do to salvage a relationship that’s on LIFE SUPPORT.
Be sure to listen with your HEAD and your HEART as Jay unlocks answers to questions about your most important relationships.
I guarantee you… You’re going to LOVE this week’s episode.
Make sure to WATCH/LISTEN to it and SHARE it with someone YOU LOVE ❤️
If you want to go even deeper on the nature of love, pick up Jay’s new book, 8 RULES OF LOVE, HOW TO FIND IT, KEEP IT, AND LET IT GO…an insightful read that demystifies what love is and what you can do to love others in RICHER and more NURTURING ways.

My bride and I share our 20th year together this month. I still shake my head everyday. I cant describe it another way. I tell my wife all the time. I must have saved a burning building full of children in a past life to deserve her. I'm humbled daily. For 20 years.: -She supported me through 3 job promotions that physically move our family to 3 different states. -She sat by my side, literally (Scariest time of my life) as I was connected to a dialysis machine keeping me alive. And she wanted to give me a kidney! -4 Children. Enough Said! I could go on for days but I can sum it up here. In the 1970 film Love Story. There's a famous line. "Love means never having to say you're sorry" with all life brings. Knowing unconditional. You got a ride or die in life. Someone who wont leave your side. Even at the END. Love is special. Listen to Jay and go getcha some!🤙#MAXOUT

Wow I REALLY LOVE THAT! That is listening, being present and it Will transform to something else. Because when We listen, everything might not take our attention at the very moment, but listen to “that” “that” and “that, different times, different people or to a discussion or different shares in a small community like a zoom meeting or alive, suddenly dots are being put together and we get this aha moments “OMG” I just realized this and this insight puts us in alignment because we just experienced being in a transition from one frequency to a higher frequency and gained new wisdom and higher consciousness. We are here to be listeners, because we receive different messages hidden within. The fun, exploring part is to be that detective 🕵️‍♀️ inside and feel the happy alignment when the transition occur. Thank You for this quote. I want to share it in my book, if it’s fine with you, with our without your name ❤️🌹💝🎖️MISS65

What a dynamic duo! This was packed with information that hit me directly in the forehead. Because of a cataclysmic event in my life, I've been on a painful path, of finally, unboxing deep childhood traumas and and understanding of a severe case of ADHD, that had me bound to my habitual past. Feeling that there was no way that I could ever break free was again just something my mind was telling me. Not what reality truly was. Our minds can be our biggest asset, but can also hold us back so strongly in the past, our body and mind don't like change. Sometimes it feels like it's easier to swim in the cesspool of your past than make a change. All this hard work is paying off, emotionally the evolution has been incredible, I'm able to go to places that I never thought possible, most importantly, I have for the first time in my life, given myself compassion and forgiveness and become deeply vulnerable with my family and friends. Unfortunately, even after all of this it appears to have cost me my marriage. I'm not sure that we're emotional equals any longer but we have a 22 month old baby that we both love dearly and for many years we had the most amazing relationship. I wish I had been able to understand and process this information sooner. ❤

My relationship ended because her curiosity would never die 😮‍💨 and what do we get as men? Pushed out of the household, made to look like a deadbeat, 90% of our time with our kids taken away. Both society and the government incentivise single motherhood through social media attention, child support and government subsidies. We are so quick to let a families get broken apart and have someone else step in just so because we want to. No need to fix issues or communicate when you have unlimited options and a built in excuse of needing to put yourself first and be happy in order to be a good parent. We are breaking homes like hotcakes because we can't address our own issues or because we saw our own vices and desires as something that we could not sacrifice and it's because quite frankly the perceived importance of the family unit has gone down. It breaks my heart because it's all by design and everyone falls into the trap.

Great interview. Thank you Ed and Jay. I have a question: the more I heal, the less emotional ups and downs I feel. Do you guys go through the same or am I just getting numb to everything? Asif everywhere I look, I only see plenty of unhealthy relationships and people trying to "convert" me, because "everyone does it" or "it's normal". Sometimes hard to keep track of what you want in a relationship when everything around you stimulates you to have unhealthy dynamics.
