Her accent is more English than american ... interesting. One of my favorite poets.

She has the same mid-Atlantic accent as Katharine Hepburn. Its center was New England (Millay grew up in coastal Maine). Popular in the first half of the 20th century. It began to fade with the end of WWII and the onset of Pax Americana.
