If I remember correctly, the reason he didn't get prosecuted was because the pred catchers were seeking KZbin views instead of actual justice and they initiated contact with EDP, which makes it hard for charges to stick because of entrapment issues. Some of the guys behind that sting have been repeatedly banned from KZbin for violating various terms of service. On one of their channels, they would catch preds and then tell them "have a boxing match with me or we call the cops" and then they'd let the pred walk away without calling police. When I was like 11 or 12, i played an online mmo and i think i actually encountered edp, he sent me a picture of himself and i wish I had saved it but from my memory it looked exactly like edp and I remember the user name he used was short and started with an E, I ghosted him as soon as he started being creepy and asking for pictures of me.
