An X follower sent me this video of ABC NEWS reporting from Moscow on 19 August 1991. Mikhail Gorbachev overthrown (temporarily) in a coup d'etat by Soviet hardliners. Boris Yeltsin saves the day. Video clip features Peter Jennings - the long time stalwart anchor of ABC News.
