Normally the rocks are extracted from the bottom, and transported to the top. So good use of EV in this specific situation

This could work in LOG TRUCKS also!! That's what they usually do. Go up in the mountains, get a load of logs, back down to the mill... Several times a day.

Usually you pull rock out of a pit so up hill not down re the recharge.

Great little look at this. I however don't believe it is more then 100% efficent

It kinda is, but only in this scenario when it goes up empty and comes down fully loaded. But don't get excited, this is not a closed system, so no thermodynamic laws were violated.

It's not, it losers 2% each trip, they have to plug it in every night.

We are in 2019 and some people still haven't realise that tv's and computer screens are always standing horizontally... Is it so difficult to understand?!

According to KZbin, 70% of the time spent looking at KZbin videos is using mobile devices. This allows the majority of users to watch this video in the intended format. Not that I like it personally...

@@guillaume.fournier I will no deny that. I watch a lot of videos on youtube from my smartphone, but the first thing I do after opening youtube is to rotate the smartphone horizontally. Why would you watch a video using 1/3 of an already small screen when you can use it all? No matter what arguments one can fetch, vertical video makes no sense to me...

@@onlineclient6143 providing free content so people with no content channels can complain makes no sense to me in 2019 either.

I watch most of my videos on my smartphone and I always watch horizontal, I agree that vertical filming makes no sense

Where does the energy come from to load the truck at the top of the hill?

Is there an update to this video? It’s not done very well. Please make a better one ❣️😃🙏🏽

So it saves $75,000 per year in fuel costs, has less maintenance than a diesel truck, and once automated will save another $75,000 per year on the cost of a driver. If one company switches to automated EV's, how could anyone else compete unless they switch too?

Phil Sangster I’m driving the wrong vehicle for $75000

Only has to be in the right spot, at the right time, running heavier loads only downhill..... Aaaand the diesel win again

You mean biggest BATTERY powered EV. The biggest EV is the Bucket Wheel Excavator . It's 100% electric, but uses mains power or basically a big freaking drop cord on steroids.

Nice. EV at the right spot. Take that, all you nay-sayers… But do me a favour: don't use this ugly portrait mode again ;-)
