I'm so thankful that you have a KZbin channel, I know that if you didn't have a channel then I would not be where I'm at right now career wise. Not only that your channel is so much fun to watch! There is never a video of yours when I'm not smiling. Keep up the great work Edwin, You deserve it!

Edwin. That may be one of the best videos you have done and thank you for naming the lake. That allows me to see a map and better compare it to other lakes.

Great video Edwin! Can’t tell you how much I appreciate you sharing the knowledge that it took you years of hard work to acquire. My favorite part is that you didn’t allow being cut off to spin you out. You handled it with class and character. Seeing more and more of this happening, so just keep on keepin’ on.

What a great video. Really, super helpful and well put together instructional video. I love watching 30 minute videos of anglers catching bass, but it’s something totally on another level watching someone catching bass and listening to their thought process and strategy while they do it. This kind of info is gold imo. Thanks so much Edwin.

LOVE THIS FORMAT! Did not see nor did you say that you were seeing many shad. Pretty common post front. I think they go deeper and sit off drop offs and deep points. This time of year, that’s where I would have looked for them and the bass. Drop Shot, deep crank, jerk bait or spoon. Probably a pretty good evening bite that day. Great show, look forward to more.

Good video I will be real interested on how this series goes on this lake. I fished it alot back when it opened and points and brush were king then after it got full to the last stage it seemed like you had to be back up in a creek. After a 16 year break have fished it a few times last couple years and have done better on small mouth. Good luck and looking forward to the next one.

Being an okie too I love watching your videos to help me get a idea of what to line out before I hit the water. You mentioned you were unfamiliar with Skiatook. A few things I do well on out there is: 1.5 red square bill, pink ned rigs, under spins and brown tubes. It would be awesome if you did a video on Keystone lake. Chartreuse and natural oxblood/morning dawn colors work good for me there but I’d like to see your input. Thanks man!

Great video Edwin! That was definitely rude of that boat to cut you off. I wish people could learn some basic etiquette when fishing. Happens to me so many times on Kentucky Lake and it is very frustrating. I am surprised you did not switch to the slower baits more quickly especially with those post front cold conditions. I do understand loving to catch bass on faster moving baits but I have learned over the years that most of the time I have had the best luck with slower baits like jigs post cold front. I like the point hopping process and then narrowing it down to the creek. Thanks for the tips.

Fished that lake my whole life. It is so heavily fished that you have to use a lot of finesse techniques. Really slow. What is funny tho, the biggest bass I caught out of their this year was a bone colored walking bait and it was a 4lb smallmouth.
@Mjones83833 жыл бұрын
Did you learn that jerkbait technique from Alex, I know you said in that trip you'd never think of throwing it in dirty shallow water like that. If you did, that's great that you are still willing to learn from the average angler and not get too big headed on thinking you're going to know all.
