Testing a Jet Powered Flying Surfboard!

I got to test the all new Jet propulsion unit from Lift eFoils and talk to some of the engineers responsible for creating it. This week I test the range, speed, safety, and much more of Lift eFoils new Jet! eFoils have taken over my life and I am looking forward to sharing more eFoil (Flying surf board) Videos with you!

Become friends with the owners, email them, get to asking questions, tell them your budget, and see what they can do for you on a one on one basis. Just my advice, reaching out and communicating has advantages

I have seen similar air fans called 'diagonal' fans, a hybrid between an axial fan and a blower. Didn't know an incompressible fluid could benefit from that design. The acceleration of the fluid makes sense though

The board wing and mast are all carbon fiber, I think this is where a lot of the cost comes from. Think of how expensive carbon fiber car parts are for reference.

They are also new, bespoke products. They are low volume and use expensive materials. This particular brand is also some of the most expensive. They have much more affordable, Chinese made, foils for those who are starting out. Also, show me a jetski that is 5 grand new lol

You didn't really range test it if you only had a half charge and you are in idaho so I don't really understand why you are measuring in km.

It does! I would recommend a bigger board for more flotation. They have many sizes depending on your weight

That’s good to know. I’m a fit 240, and had researched the jet surfs when I started seeing them. None of them were rated for me. I imagine much of that was the increased displacement and pushing that much more water. Not a problem with a foil.
