A couple points: 1.Brisket isn’t a Carolina BBQ staple. Texas holds that title. The Carolina’s are masters of pork. 2. The chains rarely have the soul of the culture. Mission is a chain. It’s an ok quick fix but you have to find the holes in the wall like Grady’s BBQ in Goldsboro or Skylight Inn in Ayden for true NC BBQ experience. 3. You’ve gotta try bbq with the vinegar to really know NC bbq. You guys are awesome and I really enjoy watching your adventures. Much love ✌🏾

FYI: Protocol is that RVers should ask management of any establishment that you would like to park at/in their lot. You will sleep much better if you know that it is OK and that law enforcement will not be knocking at your door. Some establishments that used to be quite open to campers are now not allowing it. BUT, I understand the peace of mind aspect as in not knowing who may come snooping around your Rig at all hours. Kudos to you for experiencing it anyway!!!
